About Rabbit Health

Rabbit Health — developmental and psychological support centre

A leading centre of its kind in the UK.

Rabbit Health was founded in 2023 in response to the need for a single place that brings together expertise, warmth and a systematic approach to the developmental needs of children, adults and their families. It grew out of decades of work in healthcare and educational practice, training and team-based development of clinical procedures — with a clear vision that every individual should receive a support plan tailored to them.

Our mission is to empower individuals and families through early detection, prevention, developmental stimulation and individually tailored psychomotor and psychotherapeutic treatments. Our multidisciplinary team (special educational needs, speech and language therapy, psychology, psychotherapy and related disciplines) applies modern, evidence-based methods, with parents actively involved as co-therapists.

Why Rabbit Health?

  • A unique breadth of services and expertise — the range of services and the level of expertise on our team set us apart in the UK.
  • Individualised plans — goal-led planning with clear steps and measurable outcomes.
  • Parents as partners — clear guidance, training and ongoing support.
  • A team that shares knowledge — supervision, internal training and standardised clinical procedures.

Who we are

Our clinical founder is Ivana Kovacevic-Gagic, a leading specialist in the field of special educational needs (learning disabilities) and applied developmental support, with many years of experience in clinical practice, training and leading teams. Rabbit Health was born of her conviction that high-quality, coordinated support should be available all in one place.

About

What we do

For children and adolescents: special-needs and speech and language assessments, psychological assessment and counselling, neurodevelopmental and psychomotor therapy programmes, attention and executive function stimulation, learning support, speech and language therapy, sensory integration, occupational therapy and family consultation.

For adults: individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessment and counselling, programmes to improve adaptive skills and everyday functioning.

For families: family counselling, parent coaching, crisis intervention, planning home programmes that support a child's psychomotor development, and liaison with schools/nurseries and healthcare providers.

How we work

Assessment and goals — initial consultation and standardised assessment; goals defined together.

Plan and agreement — individualised treatment plan, frequency and methods, and parental roles.

Treatment and review — delivery of therapy, home programmes and progress monitoring.

Evaluation and adjustment — periodic outcome measurement and adjustment of the plan.

Joined-up working — coordination with schools/nurseries and healthcare services.

Education and support for parents

Education is an integral part of our work: practical workshops, short courses and guided home programmes for a child's psychomotor development. We provide clear, practical guidance for everyday situations (communication, play, learning, routines, boundaries), with online options for families based further from our clinics. Where helpful, we also run sessions for nursery practitioners, teachers and specialist services.

About

Specialist psychotherapy centre (North London)

Alongside our primary clinical work, we have developed a dedicated space for Gestalt and family psychotherapy. A calm, private environment, clear procedures, scheduled appointments and clinical supervision for therapists ensure a focused and continuous psychotherapy experience — independent of our developmental programmes.
